In the news...
Plenty in the news to make one angry with the world. Particularly the so-called free and democratic west.
I must admit, as a boy during the Cold War I was well and truly duped into the term, free and democratic west. You are only free so long as you keep your mouth shut, watch television and buy junk you don't really need.
And on with the rant...
I suppose the Occupy camps in North America and Europe were bound to end. What with winter coming and the consumer festival of Shop Till You Drop or Max Your Credit Card just a month away.
Lucky for the Arabs who can rely on fine weather and little else in their lives to spur them on to complete their revolutions. In the west, there is always tomorrow.
"I have a programme to watch on TV, I'll join the revolution tomorrow."
"Oh not me, too risky. You go, I don't want to lose my self-enslavement... I mean job."
And, with all the brutality of [Name your favourite Middle-Eastern Dictator] Republican Guard, US corporate security (formerly known as, The Police) clear the streets.
Police raid Los Angeles and Philadelphia Occupy camps
If you want to know why your job is as good as slavery then read about the true cost of the junk you buy to make yourself feel happy about yourself. India is about to put $1 trainers onto the market. Why? Because they cost less than a dollar to make.
Of course, some western marketing idiot can be dragged up to say, "It will be good enough for the job it's supposed to do in India - walking every day - not for high performance running." Since when have 99.9% of trainers bought in the west been used for "high performance running"? I'll have a pair of those $1 trainers please and no kick-backs for whoever is big in that dullest of games, basketball.
Who, What, Why: How could Reebok sell trainers for $1?
As the consumer festival of Shop Till You Drop or Max Your Credit Card draws nearer and people's pockets grow emptier you can still get that perfect piece of junk that really could do without by packing a handbag of pepper spray.
Obviously, food is still cheap enough if you can afford to carry pepper spray or a hand gun to go out and buy an Xbox360. I'm guessing the word "perspective" is not in some people's vocabulary. Still, the worst is yet to come. The UK summer looting spree will be nothing when we are all fighting over the last loaf of bread in the local supermarket.
US Black Friday marred by shootings, pepper-sprayings
And finally, it's not just us plebeians arguing over mind-rotting computer consoles. Our so-called betters, the 1%-ers, are arguing over climate change protocols. Now, it is down to the school-yard antics of countries shouting, "You first!" at each other. "Won't, unless you go first. You might not decide to come along with us and cheat or something."
All climate change protocols are now in the air as countries think only of today's growth figures.
Warm blast hits UN climate summit
Yes, it's a mad world where people in the streets will maim and kill for something that doesn't provide sustenance or where politicians are happy to gamble away tomorrow just to make it through today.

Reebok is going down that is why they sell cheap products, nice post, nice news I am well informed by your article.
Zero Dramas
As far as the Occupy movement, the encampments seem to get bigger every time the police crack down on them. I've also heard multiple stories of people in the Occupy movement camping out in the yards of homes that are under threat of foreclosure. So I wouldn't say Occupy is going away, just adjusting tactics.
