Welcome to the United Kingdom of Corporate Fascism.

Now that the Olympics is over the UK reverts to being a corporate state and wipes the fake smile from its face.

If you are a Muslim terrorist then the government will bend over backwards to ensure that you will not be sent to a Muslim country to answer for your crimes in case you are tortured and killed.

But, if the United States wants you and you happen to be whistle blower Julian Assange then the UK government will hand you over and even invade the sovereign territory of another country to ensure that you are handed over to the proxy state of Sweden.

If you are a looter who vented your frustrations in last year's UK riots then you will be hunted down. But, if you are looting banker then a smoke screen will be thrown up, you will not be arrested and you will be permitted to continue looting the public's money.

In the past I have watched documentaries about 1930s Germany and thought, "What idiots! How did they let that happen to them?" And yet, it is happening again.

The use of the armed forces in all facets of society, including the Olympics so that we venerate them no matter what crimes are to come.

The "boys in blue" police force that are now bully boys dressed in black.

A separate class of politicians, bankers and corporate leaders who are above the law.

The constant feeling of fear with the BBC propaganda machine churning out images of death and destruction throughout the world with an undercurrent of behave or this might come to our shores.

Unfortunately, as with 1930s Germany there is no turning back until some calamity destroys the fascist state. Most people seem oblivious or don't care so long as their bellies are full and the TV still works.
