Outsourcing - Good or bad?

I just read this article on the liberal/corporate propaganda machine that is the BBC about a bright IT employee who outsourced his job to China.

If a corporation outsources its work overseas then that is called globalisation and capitalism at its finest.

However, because a clever IT worker in the US played the corporations at their own game he is now out of a job.

The employee outsourced his tasks to a Chinese company, paid them 20% of his salary whilst he amused himself with other things.

Bravo to him, I say. You can be sure that the corporation is now outsourcing the former employee's job to China. One rule for them and another rule for the rest of us.
